Return and Cancellation
Cancelling an order
You can cancel an order after placing it, provided it has not yet been dispatched from our warehouse. If you change your mind, we request you to cancel the order at the earliest by calling our customer care at +91 99099 92166 or emailing info.ho@gallons.co.in.
Before you accept delivery
Please ensure that you do not accept delivery of any product whose original packaging is damaged or tampered with in any manner.
Returns & replacements
You may return or replace a product within 7 (seven) days of the delivery date by raising a ‘Return Order’ or ‘Replacement Order’ request — email info.ho@gallons.co.in or call the Sygnia Customer Care Centre on 079 2666 2666 — if you find that the product delivered is damaged, defective, different from the product you ordered, expired, or does not meet the specifications listed on the Website. A return or replacement will be entertained only once per order.
Conditions for all returns
The following conditions apply to all returns:
- Only unopened and unused items can be returned.
- The item must be in its original packaging with all labels and tags, and in saleable condition — so please do not open the packaging if you decide to return the item.
- All returned items are subject to inspection by Sygnia before any replacement or refund is processed.
How pickup works
For any return or replacement, Sygnia will arrange pickup of the product. Please return the product completely in the same condition in which it was received, along with all accessories, booklets, freebies, and the original carton, with no signs of external damage on the packaging. At the time of pickup, the courier will provide you with an acknowledgement of the return — please retain it and quote or produce it in all future communication with Sygnia in this regard.
Refunds
Any replacement or exchange is processed only where the product is available; in all other cases, you will be provided with a refund, along with any shipping charges actually paid by you in relation to that product.
Sygnia will make reasonable endeavours to initiate any eligible refund or credit note within 15 days of receiving the returned product. The approved refund amount will be credited to your bank account, credit card, or debit card, as the case may be, within the time taken by the banking channels to process the refund.
Defects after delivery
Any defect arising after delivery of the product — or after its demo or installation, as the case may be — will be serviced by the respective manufacturer or brand in accordance with that manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Free items
If a free item is found to be defective, Sygnia will arrange replacement of the free item only; the main product will not be replaced. If a free gift is not available with Sygnia for an exchange, the product will be taken back along with the free gift, and the eligible refund will be processed.
Cancellation after placing an order
An order placed with Sygnia can be requested for cancellation if it has not been dispatched for delivery, by raising a ‘Cancel Order’ request to info.ho@gallons.co.in or by calling the Customer Care Centre on +91 99099 92166. Sygnia reserves the right to reject a cancellation request and may, at its sole discretion, decide appropriately after considering factors such as the product category, whether the product was purchased by Sygnia specifically against your order, whether it is proprietary in nature, whether it was customised at your special request, and whether significant cost was incurred by Sygnia to arrange its delivery. If a cancellation request is rejected after Sygnia provides adequate reasons, you will be obliged to accept delivery and make payment for the product(s). If cancellation is requested after payment has been processed and is approved by Sygnia, the amount will be refunded in accordance with the process described above.
Products of other brands
Sygnia is a retailer selling products manufactured by other brands, and we do not have control over the quality of those products. We request you to read the product description carefully for a proper understanding of the product. However, if you are not satisfied with the product quality, feel free to get in touch with the manufacturer directly.
When we may cancel your order
We strive hard to fulfil all orders. However, at times we may have to cancel your order — always after informing you — under conditions such as:
- We do not keep inventory of all items listed on our site, so fulfilment may depend on the availability of the item in the market. If an item has been discontinued by the manufacturer, we will not be able to fulfil it.
- All items to be shipped must pass rigorous quality tests in our warehouse. If our dispatch team finds that a particular item is not fit to be shipped and a replacement is not available in the market, we may cancel your order.
- Your delivery location is in a non-serviceable area.
Damaged or wrong items — report within 48 hours
If you receive a broken, incorrect, or non-functional product, call us at +91 99099 92166 or email info.ho@gallons.co.in within 48 hours of delivery. We will get back to you at the earliest and may ask you to share photos of the damaged or wrong item(s). Upon confirmation, we will arrange to have the item picked up from your address; if a pickup facility is not available at your location, we may ask you to courier the item to us. Once we receive and inspect the product, a replacement will be dispatched in the case of a confirmed fault.
Please note that damaged or wrong items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. If the particular product is not available with us, a refund will be arranged at the earliest.
